Cultural Sites

These contribute to the city's environment and sense of place in many important ways. Includes non-institutional resources, monuments and places, and even temporary events such as monthly swap meet, annual eco-fair, festivals and fairs.

Museums/ Institutions

Includes cultural institutions and museums on a range of topics and interests including art, environment, architecture, culture etc.

Eco – Art

Ecologically oriented artwork which may use traditional techniques, materials, locally made crafts, or earthworks. Can include permanent or temporary exhibits. May be resources for making eco-art or provide information about events.

Historical Features

Edifice, institution, monument, or unmarked historical area that is protected by the Council for the Preservation of Sites and is not included for protection within the Israeli Antiquities Law.

Archeological Sites

Edifice, institution, monument, object or marked historical area which is protected by the Israeli Antiquities Law. The law protects man made remains made before 1700 CE or any zoological or botanical remains from before 1300 CE.
